Make a Halloween Tiny Desk AI Video

Turn a clear photo into a haunted desk performance: costume changes, carved pumpkins and candlelit bookshelves, all in a 15-second vertical video. Pick the cast look, upload your photo, and the server handles the rest.

What you get

A continuous 15-second performance

One vertical 9:16 shot of the band behind the desk, not a slideshow of stills.

Your face stays recognisable

Costumes are added around the face, and the presets explicitly keep it visible.

A full haunted band

Lead, keys, sax and backing vocals can wear matching skeleton, zombie or mixed-monster looks.

A desk that reads as Tiny Desk

Crowded bookshelves, a red keyboard, warm lamps and close-packed musicians stay in frame.

Costume cast

Pick one look for the lead. The rest of the band can match, stay as they are, or become a mixed-monster crew. Every preset leaves the face open so the person in the photo remains identifiable.

How it works

  1. 1. Upload a clear photo

Add one to five photos of yourself or people who gave you permission. A front-facing face with even light works best; each photo gets one stage position.

  2. 2. Pick the costume and scene

Choose the lead costume, what the rest of the band wears, and the haunted desk setting. Presets keep faces visible, so the person in the photo stays recognisable.

  3. 3. Generate the video

The server builds the prompt and renders a 15-second vertical performance. You never send a prompt, model, quality or price from the browser.

Frequently asked questions

Is this an official Tiny Desk video?

No. Outstanding Tiny Desk AI is an independent tool and is not affiliated with NPR, any artist or any broadcaster. The result is a new AI-generated performance, not official footage.

How many photos should I upload?

One to five. One to three usually gives the clearest result. Use a different photo for each person, with the face clearly visible and not covered by a hat or a phone.

What does a Halloween video cost?

One video credit per generation, the same credit used by the home generator. Video packs start at $9.90 for one credit. If the render fails, the credit is refunded automatically.

Can I use a celebrity photo?

No. Use only photos of yourself or people who have given you permission. Celebrity photos, logos and other people’s copyrighted images are not allowed.

How is this different from the Halloween photo page?

The photo page prepares a still image with the same costume and scene presets, but image generation is not priced yet, so its submit button is disabled. The video page renders motion and is live now.

How long is the video, and what shape is it?

The Halloween profile renders 15 seconds in a vertical 9:16 frame, without a watermark. Results vary from the samples because the model interprets each photo and preset combination differently.
